 Handmade Ceramics

Every piece is thrown, refined, sculpted, glazed and handled by one person. I am just a small time potter! While I attempt for uniform measurements, patterns and colours please know that every piece is unique and may show signs of being handmade. Buying handmade is not for everyone.

 Care

Hand washing is recommended for a prolonged life. These stoneware products are dishwasher and microwave safe unless otherwise mentioned. However, due to the iron content in the black glazed pieces they can get hot in the microwave.

 Shipping

At BV Ceramic, I take great care in ensuring that each item is properly prepared for shipment. All products are carefully packaged using a double-box method to safeguard the integrity of your ceramic piece during transit.

Please be advised that all shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will be calculated at checkout. Due to the fragile nature of ceramic products, any damage incurred during shipping is not the responsibility of the seller.

Note: Effective January 20th, 2025, I will no longer be shipping to the United States and territories due to increasing complexities and the unpredictability of tariffs and trade regulations. This decision comes after careful consideration of the challenges these factors have created.

Shipping Tariffs and Duty Taxes

Please be aware that all applicable shipping tariffs, customs duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are determined by the destination country and will be calculated at the time of import. BV Ceramic has no control over these fees, and they are separate from the shipping costs provided at checkout. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information on potential charges prior to placing an order.


Returns/ Damages

No returns are accepted. Each item will be clearly labelled with dimensions and weights to ensure it is an informed purchase. Some items are made to order and I am not able to keep a large quantity of stock. Every item is inspected before shipping to ensure no damages. However, I cannot be responsible for shipping damages. I do pack the items VERY carefully before they leave my possession, however, shipping fragile items like ceramics is at the risk of the buyer and I do hold responsibility of an damaged goods. Theft

I cannot be responsible for stolen packages after a shipment has been marked as fulfilled by the carrier. I am a one-person business and cannot be monetarily responsible for any stolen items. Please keep an eye out for your delivery.

Stock

At times the product list might show as sold out. This means that I am currently out of stock but trust in the process of ceramics. Pottery is all about timing and being patient. It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks for me to produce my ceramics. As items come out of the kiln I add them to my online store. However if you have any inquires please contact me.
